The ministry of a camp has lots of unique challenges. We have all the needs of a hotel/resort, while trying to keep the kitchen of a restaurant going, and attempting to put on a fun time that can't be had outside of an amusement park.
With all this going on, its even tougher for a church to run this kind of ministry without the generosity of people. Walmart.com The Needs ListsWe have two lists of things we need. One is a list of things we use constantly. We call this our "Always Need" list, and you can find in on this page to your right. It's full of things you can grab on your next trip to Target or Sam's Club and donate to the ministry of Camp Eden.
The other list is our Big Ticket Needs list. These items are a little more expensive than our Always Needs and the list can change in size depending on what our immediate needs are. Check out this list of items here. The Camp Eden 5k Run/Walk
Our cornerstone fundraiser every year is our 5k Run/Walk. This year the 5k is on June 9 and begins at 8:30 am. Not a runner? Don't worry, the 5k is an event for everyone. It includes both a cookout and carnival as well. Click here to find out more information about how to can help with the 5k.
Camper ScholarshipsWe like to say at Camp Eden that every empty seat is a soul who did not get served. We don't like to see empty seats. Unfortunately, many kids miss out on going to camp because of a lack of money. Help us send kids who need financial assistance to camp through our scholarship program. You can donate here.
