What is a
Custom Camp?

Many groups like the idea of running a camp just for them. But they don’t have the expertise or resources to do it well.

That’s where Camp Eden comes in. We pair our specialty - camping - with your specialty - your people - to ensure your group has the best experience possible.
To do that, we pair you up with one of our staff members, who walks you through the process of choosing activities, schedules.

General Information

Camp Representative – Custom groups must designate one representative to work with the Camp Eden staff to schedule and execute camp event.
Camp Reservation Schedule

At Least One Month Prior to Camp Event
- Turn in your Custom Camp Worksheet to Camp Office. Someone from the Camp Staff will contact you to go through the details and put together your contract.
- Return your signed contract with a copy of organization’s group liability insurance and $100 deposit.
Two Weeks Prior to Camp Event
- Provide a final number of campers, within a range of five (eg 45–50). The lower number becomes the minimum number for which the group must pay.
- Provide a tentative schedule for event.
First Day of Camp Event
- Contact Camp Eden if your group is going to be more than one hour early or one hour late.
- Go straight to lodge to meet with camp staff before dividing group and beginning program.
Last Day of Camp Event
- Meet with Camp Eden staff about reserving camp for future needs.
- Pay final invoice.

Maximum # of Campers – Custom camps shall not exceed 100 campers without written permission from Camp Eden at least 10 days prior to scheduled camp.
Overnight Housing – Camp Eden requires men and women to use separate cabins except for married sponsor couples or during Couples Retreats or Family Retreats.
Counselors – Overnight custom groups are responsible to provide qualified counselors at a ratio of one per cabin or one per ten campers for all campers under the age of 18.
