What if I'm late?

If you are going to be late to a Program Camp at Camp Eden, please call the campsite (303-642-3683) to inform us of your expected time for arrival. We will be make sure to be on the lookout for you!

STAFFING

Our staff for program camps comes from two places: student ministry volunteers from our parent ministry, Beth Eden Baptist Church; and college students from other solid, local churches.

Regardless of where they come from, we run references for all our staff, background check them, and train them in vital areas of student ministry like sexual abuse prevention (through MinistrySafe), First Aid/CPR (through AHA), Standard Response Protocol (through the "I Love U Guys" foundation), and basics of biblical counseling.

The bottom line criteria we use in determining who will be in cabins with campers is who our year-round staff would be comfortable overseeing our kids. We don't want anyone taking care of kids who would make a parent or pastor uncomfortable and work hard to ensure our staff is the very best there is.

Activities

Activities throughout the week could include field games, rock climbing, white water rafting, horseback riding, Archery Games, range time (rifle, archery, hatchets, slingshots, blowguns), team building, low ropes, zipline, mountain boarding – and many more! All activities are included in the camp price.

We recommend campers who attend summer camps bring $10 to $20 to use in our snack and gear store, Grandma Mackie's. Grandma Mackie's is closed during the off-season, but gear is still available in the Lodge from the Camp Staff.

special Diets

Camp Eden cannot accommodate various special diets, so please plan to bring your own supplementary foods, if needed. A fridge, microwave, and toaster are available to store and prepare special diet foods.

Food from Camp Eden’s meals that fit special diets will still be available to campers.

Health & Medical Information

All of the Camp Eden's staff is First Aid/CPR certified. Summer Campers have access to an onsite Medical Professional (CNA or higher) who will distribute medications and handle more serious needs.

Campers with contagious conditions or diseases are not permitted to attend camp.  The state of Colorado requires that each camper for summer camp have a current medical release form on file at the camp.  The medical release form must be filled out and signed by a doctor or a nurse practitioner.  Signatures from RNs are NOT acceptable.
